Hello everyone.  It’s me, Alan Lechusza, writer/author.  This is the place to come and share thoughts on what’s happening in the writing world.  Let’s talk about it!

There’s been a lot of editing on projects for supporting authors.  Hours every day are spent going through the materials making sure that the writing is on-point and acceptable to the supporting author and their audience.  It’s a labor of love.  Working with these individuals through their creative process is wonderful journey.  Each work is review and given care and excellent craftsmanship. 

My personal writings have been expanded to include a companion blog location on WordPress, This is in addition to the Blood, Sweat, Pray blog and my Patheos blog, The Sweatpants Sessions. Each of these blogs provides a variety of writing interest and original content.  You won’t be disappointed in taking a few moments – or hours – to go through the uploaded content.  Be sure to subscribe, follow, share, and comment on each of the blog sites!  All messages are answered personally.

The writings have been centered around the socio-political context and the current dynamic civil actions.  Literally, every day, there’s something new to address.  The other writing work has been dealing with Hip Hop culture.  As a cultural theorist invested in Hip Hop, how this cultural artform is used to express, comment, and critique local-global references opens a valuable avenue of understanding.  As a quick tease, be sure to read the forthcoming blog on Breakdancing at the 2024 Paris Olympics.  This has been an ongoing segment on my daily video logs posted on my Tik Tok and YouTube channels.  It will an exciting blog with the potential to be a short series.  Follow, subscribe, share, and comment to remain up to date.
